JIMMY FERGUSON
Jimmy Ferguson is a multicultural, multi-award-winning cinematographer and director. He launched his career in New Orleans, being named “Louisiana Filmmaker of the Year” in 2008. Shortly after, Ferguson relocated to NYC where he developed his career in commercials and advertising (winning the CINDY Gold Award for his #NotAFan campaign against domestic violence in 2016). His commercial work includes the following clients: Canon, Samsung, L’Oreal, Maybelline, Redken, Rolling Stone, and Google.
Based out of Brooklyn, Ferguson travels extensively for documentary, fiction and multidisciplinary projects. When not running film crews, he cares for his self-sustaining land dedicated to healing in the tropical Andes of Colombia. Ferguson is a multilingual communicator who specializes in diverse and international productions and he promotes cross-cultural awareness in his everyday practice.
