Mass Appeal and CÎROC teamed up for “Making History” — a branded content campaign celebrating the legacy, style, and cultural influence of three iconic figures in hip hop music and culture. Each subject brought a unique presence, voice, and visual tone to the table. The creative challenge was to craft distinct edits for each individual, while still connecting them through a unified aesthetic that reflected the campaign’s premium, culture-forward identity.
As the post-production partner, we were tasked with shaping a flexible editorial system — one that honored each subject’s individuality but kept the storytelling consistent and polished across the full series.
Create a series of premium, cinematic edits that feel tailored and personal — while supporting CÎROC’s ongoing narrative around cultural excellence, self-expression, and legacy. Our role was to develop a consistent visual and editorial language, then flex it to fit each subject’s personality, tone, and story arc.
The goal wasn’t just to stitch footage together — it was to make each film feel intentional, high-style, and worthy of the icons featured.
We delivered three fully realized edits — each built around its subject’s unique cadence and energy, but connected through visual rhythm, refined pacing, and tonal continuity. Our post team handled everything from edit through finishing, shaping the narrative structure and crafting a look and feel that echoed CÎROC’s bold, modern aesthetic.
The final videos were rolled out across CÎROC and Mass Appeal’s digital channels, garnering engagement from fans, press, and the broader cultural community. Our editorial approach helped the campaign walk the line between branded content and documentary, honoring each subject’s story while reinforcing CÎROC’s place at the intersection of luxury and legacy.
