Rethink School

Pereira O'Dell created a campaign that would get the word out about K12's tuition-free online public school as a solution for young students and parents that prefer or need remote learning. Gallagher wanted to bring students' frustrations with in-person education to the screen in this high energy 30 second spot and its resulting smaller pieces.

(Challenge)

Stride K12 wanted to shift perceptions about online learning—not just as a pandemic-era necessity, but as a viable, long-term alternative to traditional education. The challenge was to reframe the conversation around virtual schooling in a way that felt empowering, modern, and emotionally resonant for both students and parents.

(Goal)

Create a national campaign that humanizes online learning by spotlighting real students and families who’ve thrived in the K12 environment. The goal was to tell authentic stories that challenge outdated assumptions, position Stride as a forward-thinking education leader, and drive engagement with prospective families.

(Result)

We developed a series of cinematic, documentary-style spots that followed diverse students across the country. Our team captured their routines, passions, and challenges, using a warm, naturalistic visual approach to convey both intimacy and credibility. The resulting campaign aired nationally and across digital platforms, helping rebrand virtual education as not just an option—but a better fit for many students.
